Daiya and Please Like Me TONIGHT!

Pizza with a dog waiting for food to drop

It’s an exciting night for me!

ABC2 are showing all the episodes of the first season of Please Like Me back to back tonight, before the new season starts on Tuesday.

But that’s not all…I also managed to get hold of the second last packet of Daiya mozzarella at Mad Cowgirls  this morning.

And H has made a cake. Banana and chocolate with cream cheese icing.

I stop for a brief blogging breather and next thing I  know 4 days have gone by since my last post! I can’t let Vegan MoFo beat me, after all it’s almost over (just like the AFL footy season). I have a folder of half written posts, so rather than finish each one, I’m going to mash them all together into one post about what I’ve eaten lately.

It’s been a really long week, and we’re all really tired and hungry. The cupboard is pretty much bare by the end of the week too, so it’s hard to think of anything to make for dinner. Time to take advantage of Mr Natural Vegetarian Pizza* delivery service!

We usually get takeaway once a week, when we’re REALLY tired, but since we stopped eating animal products, I’ve been thinking we’d have to give up takeaway pizza or settle for cheese-free. Then I Googled ‘vegan pizza Melbourne’ and found Mr Natural.

I hadn’t eaten Mr Natural Pizza since I lived in a Brunswick share house in the 80s, so I was rapt to see that they’re still going strong. Continue reading
