I stop for a brief blogging breather and next thing I know 4 days have gone by since my last post! I can’t let Vegan MoFo beat me, after all it’s almost over (just like the AFL footy season). I have a folder of half written posts, so rather than finish each one, I’m going to mash them all together into one post about what I’ve eaten lately.

Feathery babies and curried ‘egg’ sandwiches
Spring has really hit Melbourne, and what a glorious day we’ve had! A fantastic day for a walk in our beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens. Today we were lucky enough to see some of the newest fluffy downy residents!
Vegan products in mainstream shops
When I first stopped eating meat, in the early 90s, the range of ‘vegie’ foods in my supermarket was VERY limited. I had to make a special trip to a ‘health food’ shop to get some of the foods we ate. Over the years, the range has increased, but it’s great to see that over the last few months, there has been a HUGE expansion of vegie choices in my regular supermarket. It’s a good sign!
